Netflix series My Life with the Walter Boys based on the popular WattPad novel has just started production! Earlier today, April 20, Netflix announced the series cast and additional info on the upcoming coming-of-age romance series. The WattPad novel by Ali Novak is a beloved book with almost 80 million reads. It’s also a Goodreads Choice nominee.
The upcoming drama will span 10 episodes and comes from creator, showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall (Itch). Ed Glauser (The Kissing Booth trilogy) will also serve as an executive producer on the series from iGeneration Studios (The Kissing Booth trilogy) and Sony Pictures Television, International Production.
There is no release date yet for the upcoming series, which just started production in Calgary. If I had to guess, I would estimate the series will arrive sometime in the first half of 2023.
In addition to announcing the start of production, Netflix released the cast list for the show.
